To listen to the entire spot (a few minutes long), click the little microphone icon....Jack Last time we were citing some extra-Biblical sources, sources outside the Bible, that were used or referred to by Biblical authors, such as Jude, Moses and Paul. We ended by mentioning that the careful use of extra-Biblical support for Scripture is allowed, but some basic, perhaps obvious rules should be followed. First, it must assist and support scripture. As Jesus said, not one implied punctuation mark in scripture can be broken, until all is fulfilled. Cited, outside sources are not permitted that would alter, revise or otherwise change the meaning or record of Holy Scripture. |
