For your consideration...the following is an excerpt from a radio spot on KAPL radio, Jacksonville, Oregon, called " Akin For the Truth". To listen to the entire spot (a few minutes long), click the little microphone icon....Jack

Perhaps you’ve looked at a lungfish on some TV documentary and imagined you were seeing some evolutionary transitional creature linking fishes to amphibians. Despite the fact that many are taught that lungfish evolved into land creatures, few evolutionists consider any form of lungfish to have been the forerunner of amphibians, mainly because of skeletal differences, for the lungfish has no hint of legs. Only museum visitors and TV documentary watchers still carry this misconception. But the evolutionist must explain variation seen in nature by the spontaneous development of increasing order from class to class, species to species, and so, for example, from fishes to amphibians. So let’s look at the supposed transition from fishes to amphibians. Amphibians are often defined as cold-blooded animals characterized by moist, smooth skin that live both on land and in water at various life stages, and that have gills at some stage of development. So frogs, toads and salamanders are amphibians. According to the general view held by today’s evolutionist, it was a transition from fins to feet that took place in the water, not any movement from water to land, that marked the transition from fish to amphibian.
