Comments on the subject have been put out by biologists like Dr. Robert Koufal, Dr. Gary Parker, Dr. Duane Gish and Dr. Jobe Martin. The beetle, on his way to becoming a bombardier beetle, would have to carefully store the chemicals in a storage chamber apart from the enzymes but in the presence of an inhibitor to prevent them from reacting prematurely with one another. His system also would have to select the correct enzymes needed to catalyze the chemical reactions involved, and then evolved to secrete them into the combustion chamber. The combustion chamber itself must be able to resist the corrosive effect of the hot, irritating chemicals and strong enough to contain the high pressure without rupturing. The combustion chamber must also be equipped with a highly efficient valve, and the appropriate muscles must exist to manipulate the combustion tube and point it in the right direction. Though it provides positive proof to the open-minded of the fact that this world has been designed and created by God, it is to many a difficult one to wrap the mind around. Nevertheless, kids and adults alike can delight in the illustrations brought out these days by taking a closer look at animals dramatically demonstrating God's design. A popular one is the Bombardier Beetle. This amazing little bug utilizes chemicals typically metabolized by its species in remarkable, irreducible ways. Evolutionists find fault with this example but they do not succeed in explaining how the bombardier beetle could have evolved.

Newton was the first to demonstrate that the same natural laws govern both earthly motion and celestial motion. He is associated with the scientific revolution and the advancement of heliocentrism, the mathematical substantiation for and expansion of Kepler"s laws, for his arguments that light was composed of particles, laws of optics, cooling, the binomial theorem in its entirety; and the principles of conservation of momentum. Finally, he studied the speed of sound in air, and voiced a theory of the origin of stars. It is fairly rare, about one part in 200,000, but, nevertheless, the mix of the rare gases are of immense importance, affecting our weather and climactic balance. Much could be mentioned about uses we have found for this gas. Helium is used in lighter than air balloons and blimps, and while heavier than hydrogen, is far safer since it doesn"t burn. It is used as an inert gas shield for arc welding; pressuring liquid fuel rockets; and as a gas for supersonic wind tunnels. It has been put forth that there is but a fraction of the helium that it seems there should be, given the Earth is as old as evolutionists need it to be. Since the colorless and odorless helium is one of the noble gases, being non-reactive, like argon, it does not form other compounds, but remains by itself, easy to track. Comments[0] |

Cook, Vardiman and Humphreys have demonstrated over the years that there is up to a million times less helium in our atmosphere than there would be had the Earth existed for 4.5 billion years. Even using the most conservative estimations, the present abundance of one type of He would accumulate in 1.8 million years, and only 370 thousand years would be required to supply the atmosphere with its present content of another isotope of He. In the most extreme case of we have 3,000 times too small an amount of Helium in our atmosphere. Evolutionists must reason, therefore, that the helium must be somehow escaping from the atmosphere. The main process which has been considered to explain the excessive loss of helium by long-age theorists is thermal escape. This is the process whereby light gas molecules or atoms can escape from the gravitational attraction of a planet, if they exceed the escape velocity. But, as Vardiman demonstrates by citing fully accepted documentation, even if helium did escape at any scientifically acceptable rate, the present abundance in the atmosphere of one isotope of Helium, 4He, containing two protons and two neutrons, would still accumulate in about two million years, far short of the billions of years necessary for evolution. The atmosphere is the mixture of gases and other materials that surround the Earth in a thin, mostly transparent shell. It is held in place by the Earth's gravity. The main components are nitrogen (78.09%), oxygen (20.95%), argon (0.93%), and carbon dioxide (0.03%). We are immersed in an ocean of air and, at sea level, we are at its bottom. Air weighs about .075 pounds per cubic foot. As a result of all the air above us, we experience about 14.7 pounds per square foot of atmospheric pressure. But among the other gases in the atmosphere we could discuss today, helium is very interesting. Comments[0] |

To listen to the entire spot (a few minutes long), click the little microphone icon....Jack According to all the physics we know today, the evolution of the sun requires that it was too cold for life to form billions of years ago. How do evolutionists resolve this paradox? It may be helpful to recall that evolutionists theorize that, on early Earth, life forms, like microscopic algae, are supposed to have introduced free oxygen into the air and regulated the amount of other gases. The original atmosphere on Earth, say they, was a reducing atmosphere. The term "reducing? is used to describe chemical reactions containing free hydrogen. Originally, they postulated an atmosphere consisting of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), carbon monoxide (CO), ammonia (NH3), free hydrogen and water vapor. Newer schemes exclude ammonia and methane. This is certainly topic for another discussion. So as new forms of life evolved, the mix of gases in Earth's atmosphere gradually changed. Carl Sagan, among others, proposed that the early atmosphere contained a greater amount of greenhouse gases (such as methane) than today, and that this would have produced average temperatures close to those today, even with a much fainter Sun. As the Sun gradually increased in luminosity, Earth's atmosphere is supposed to have evolved along with it, so that the amount of greenhouse gases have slowly decreased to compensate for the increasing solar luminosity.

To listen to the entire spot (a few minutes long), click the little microphone icon....Jack The general explanation for the independent creation of a star begins with incredibly large expanses of dust and gases, which congeal by gravity in the emptiness of space, heating up as it collects more and more material. This hot collection of material is called a protostar. When a protostar’s center reaches a high enough temperature for fusion to begin, then the star has theoretically joined the main sequence, the phase in which it will spend most of its life. Supposedly the Sun has been a main-sequence star since its formation about 4.6 billion years ago. This time represents about half the assumed ten-billion-year main-sequence lifetime of the Sun, so the Sun should have used about half its energy store by now. This means that about half the hydrogen in the core of the Sun has been used up and replaced by helium. This necessitates that the Sun is nearly 40% brighter than it was 4.6 billion years ago, and a 40% change in solar luminosity would have produced dramatic climatic changes. To listen to the entire spot (a few minutes long), click the little microphone icon....Jack Have you ever heard of THE EARLY FAINT SUN PARADOX? Well, it goes as follows: four billion years ago the sun (its fusion fire not yet having worked up to present levels) would be 40% cooler than now. Meanwhile, Earth’s surface temperatures would be too cold, a hostile environment, and would preclude liquid water; an ice planet. So, how then did life form in these early eras? Now, a star is viewed today as a ball of gas held together by its own gravity, which is continually trying to cause the star to collapse. The pressure of hot gas and/or radiation in the star's interior counterbalances its gravity. During the lifetime of this star, the interior heat and radiation is provided by nuclear reactions near the center, and this phase of the star's life is called its main sequence. The physics behind these theories of star formation absolutely require that the young, main sequence star is much fainter, cooler, than it will be when it matures. Our Sun, of course, has to be at least as old as our Earth, however old that may be. So, the evolutionist must believe that, each and every day, over millions and billions of years, by sheer, happy coincidence, the Earth somehow maintained a heated environment, slowly and exactly cooling to match the gradual increases in the Sun’s temperature, in order to maintain the even, consistent temperatures absolutely essential to the theory of evolution of life. We"ve thereby noted and look briefly at the two opposing views on the phenomenon; Special Creation and Dynamo theories. Even evolutionists knowledgeable in the field, we’ve observed, acknowledge that the evolutionary magnetic sign reversal hypothesis has no valid theoretical support. Dr. Barnes, in his book, The Decay of the Earth's Magnetic Moment and the Geochronological Implications, demonstrates that the reversal hypothesis has no valid theoretical/mathematical basis or observational support. The paleomagnetic data upon which it depends does not correlate with the state of the earth's magnetic field, namely its magnetic moment. Further, the variations in the magnetic fields of Neptune and Uranus, measured during Voyager space explorations, challenge evolutionary theory and support creationist models. For example, Uranus, though producing very little heat, has a very strong magnetic field.
